Ouch!!!

It felt like Christmas in the fall. My cousin, Jonathan, and I were still in our youth when our minds were filled with so many creative ideas. We were both so energetic and careless; yes not a care in the world.
One day, Jonathan and I felt like playing a game of tag. I love tag. The air in my face the crunch of the leaves, but most of all playing with my favorite cousin. My cousin, Jonathan, is my fastest cousin also, so he made tag for me challenging, yet a very fun game. I was always up for a challenge trying to outrun him.The fresh, cold air going through my long, straight hair while running through the leaves hearing them crackle was so satisfying . But that ended very quickly.
As I was running, I tripped and fell over a brick that was hidden in the leaves. Suddenly, as I felt myself falling and heard the leaves cracking, I felt a sharp object scratch my arm. My first thought was that the leaves were sharp. As I picked myself up from the pile of leaves, I noticed a pile of sharp rocks hidden underneath the pile.
After that, I didn’t want to play. The pain made me mad, not to mention ruined the exciting mood I was in to play with my favorite cousin in the beautiful outdoors. My mom cleaned my arm and wrapped it up. I couldn’t play for a whole month. That is how my day went from feeling so happy, excited, and energetic to feeling disappointed and in pain.
